The Best Coast Showcase Bay Area was packed with stars from all over the Bay.  Players representing all 6 Sections (CCS, SJS, NCS, SF, Oakland and Northern) were in attendance battling it out.  An outstanding coaching staff was assembled to work these players out with an extended 1 on 1 period filled with exciting match-ups.
This camp was a preview of the Best Coast NorCal Hot 150 Camp that we will be covering in July with the top 150 players from NorCal.  Below were the camp MVP’s and some of the outstanding performers from the camp.

Nate Azzopardi (Serra HS OL ’20) killed it on 1 on 1’s and never lost a match up.  This elite lineman is on the verge of his first offer displaying elite strength and feet.  He was also named as an outstanding player at the Best Coast Showcase Bay Area.

Shamar Garrett (De La Salle ATH 20′) looks extra dangerous in space at WR running crisp routes and catching the ball well.  Garrett has captured his first few offers and continues to show why he is one of the best athletes on the entire west coast.

Teddye Buchanan (St. Ignatius ATH 20′) Big, physical ATH who played OLB last year but actually worked out at corner the entire camp.  Teddye is a super athlete who proved that he is a Pac-12 quality player and actually picked up his first offer from Colorado State this week.

JT Reed (Valley Christian Line 20′) Reed is explosive and impressive on both sides of the ball.  The D1 recruit was unstoppable in 1v1’s and earned MVP of the Line Group.
Avant Muldrow (Pittsburg ATH 20′) Muldrow dazzled on the day from the slot and picked up Camp MVP honors along the way.  Muldrow made a number of extremely tough catches on the day and his stock is on the rise quickly with colleges.

Troy Franklin (Menlo-Atherton WR 21′) Franklin showed exactly why he is the nation’s best at the WR position.  He displayed advanced releases against press coverage and excellent speed changes while running routes.  Franklin was at the front of the line in every drill and earned Underclass MVP honors.

Anthony Madrigal (Valley Christian LB 20′) Madrigal has dominated on the camp circuit and continues to work his way into the conversation of top edge rushers in the CCS.  Look for Madrigal’s stock to heat up as the pads come back on.

Gary Alexander II (McClymonds RB/LB 20′) Alexander II is a jack of all trades who combines speed and power to defeat opponents.  One of the top 2 way players in NorCal also looked good catching the ball.
Roman Perrin (San Ramon Valley EDGE 21′) The young edge rusher went up against some tough Tackles and did well, Perrin is not afraid of any blocker and will continue to grow into his height.
Netane Fehoko (Hillsdale HS OL/DL 20′)  Looked great on the day blocking some of the best competition at the camp.  Fehoko plays both ways and was all-league last season – look for him to blow up on the recruiting scene soon.

Matt Suka (Wood LB/TE ’20) Elite size and athletic ability at 6-5, 230.  Suka is under the radar at the moment but his stock is ready to explode.

Justin Lynch (Dublin DB 21′) Lynch showed off his cover skills against elite upperclassmen and did not disappoint.  All-EBAL as a sophomore last season, Lynch will help lead Dublin on both sides of the ball.
Terrence Loville (Serra WR 20′) Really stood out.  He has elite size and plays either side of the ball well.  Stock is rising extremely fast as he just picked up 2 D1 offers this week.
Josh Zeising (Monte Vista LB 21′) Josh will be one of the top LB in NCS next season and showed why with his elite size and instincts.

Isaiah Dwelle (Milpitas CB 20′) Very physical and has outstanding size.  His upside is through the roof as he will continue to get better throughout college.  Dwelle is on the brink of that first D1 offer as he is one of the top DB’s in NorCal.
Jared Wade (Homestead LB 20′) Wade is under the radar but will explode soon.  Has perfect size and speed combo – Wade is athletic has film to back it up.
Evan Branch-Haynes (Sacred Heart Prep DL 21′) Elite quickness and size, Branch-Haynes has a motor and was tough to block in 1v1’s, one of the top DL in CA c/o 2021.

Daylin McLemore (Serra QB/ATH 20′) McLemore has all of the tools and showed off his abilities on Sunday.  He earned top QB honors alongside a host of other quality passers.
Jonaven Kuhn (Carlmont ATH 20′) Kuhn is one of the top 2-way players in the Central Coast Conference and he shied away from no one on Sunday.  Kuhn excels as a quality size DB with good athleticism.
Ben Roe (De La Salle DL 2020′) Roe is quick, strong and technical.  Extremely hard to block and put on a show in the featured 1 on 1’s.  Roe will get plenty of college looks as a leader on a nationally rated team.

Miles Bailey (Benicia Edge 22′) Bailey is already 6-4, 200 as a freshman and fit right in with the elite group of edge rushers.  Bailey is quick and aggressive and will be one of the top players in the west region.
Darrion Bartley (Liberty ATH 20′) Bartley is as versatile defender as it gets – he can play OLB or anywhere in the secondary.  He impressed with his physical nature on the outside defending the WRs.
Jordyn Turner (Liberty WR 20′) Turner is 6-5 with elite speed and hands.  Pretty much unguardable on the day and is a sure fire D1 prospect.  It’s only a matter of time before a college pulls the trigger on an offer for Turner.

Kyle Ecker (San Ramon Valley OL 21′) Ecker has excellent technique and the frame to develop into a top tier west coast tackle.  Ecker picked up a pancake in 1 on 1’s and earned a top performer award.
David Silk (Woodside WR 21′) Silk showed off his route running and hands against the upperclassmen.  Extremely gifted route runner and understands how to get open.  Also earned a top performer award
Luke Afato (Yuba City LB 20′) Afato has elite size and athleticism.  He’s had a huge spring on the camp circuit and is one of the top LB in NorCal.
Carsten Rawls (Saint Francis EDGE 21′) Rawls is big, fast and strong and showed off his linebacker skills on Sunday.  Rawls is an elite wrestler and will be on the recruiting boards soon as an elite edge rusher.

Kavir Bains (Valley Christian DB 20′) Bains battled all day with the best of the best and proved why he was WCAL DB of the Year in 2018.  Bains has elite ball skills and a high football IQ, stock is on the rise.
Mana Taimani (Clayton Valley Charter OL 20′) Taimani was the largest player in attendance at 6-6, 280 and is flying up the recruiting boards.  His ceiling is extremely high as he is just scratching the surface of his talent.
Nic Sani (Central Catholic TE 20′) made it look easy out there with his huge frame and elite hands.  Sani is one of the top TE on the west coast and didn’t really have anyone to match-up with on the day.

Jalen Moss (Menlo-Atherton WR 22′) Moss is a naturally gifted WR who made some outstanding grabs on the day.  Just a freshman – Moss was able to get separation and finish catches, especially on the goal line.  He was also named a top performer on the day.
Shamir Bey Jr. (Archbishop Mitty QB 20′) Bey Jr. was the top passer of the day throwing pretty spirals and elite deep balls.  Bey Jr. is big and athletic and will be a 3 year starter.

JoJo Vaughn (De Anza ATH 20′) Vaughn was pretty much untouchable in RB v LB  1 on 1’s and also got some work with the WR.  Vaughn is coming off of a 2000+ yard season and will look to top that in 2019.
Elijah Wood (St. Mary’s – Stockton ATH 20′) Physical specimen who worked out primarily with the WR on the day.  Already holds D1 offers as an OLB but showed that could end up playing WR in college.

Calel Aremboles (CA School for the Deaf RB 20′) Our second time seeing Aremboles this off-season and he impresses us every time.  His combination of speed and size is absolutely scary.  Balance is elite and is an all around great kid who loves the game.  He is also a World Bowl Selection.
Nate Sanchez (Serra ATH 20′) Smooth athlete with good size and great hands.  Sanchez is a multi-talented skill player on a top team who will get offered soon.  Does a lot of things really well.

Raymond Price III (Menlo-Atherton QB 21′) Price looks like a collegiate QB as only a sophomore.  Price has no trouble making major league throws with good pocket presence.

Tyler Roberts (Valley Christian DE 21′) Roberts is 6-4 and athletic.  He will be one of the top TE/Edge players in NorCal for the class of 21′ while playing on elite California team.

Sithri Price (Central Catholic ATH 20′) Price is a lot bigger in real life and showed why he averaged 39 yards per catch last season.  Fundamentally sound football player who could end as a DB – will get his first offer soon.

Isaiah McElvane (Valley Christian ATH 20′) McElvane dominated on both sides of the ball with extreme confidence.  Excellent size and ball skills, he showed why he will be a 3-year 2 way starter on a top California team – currently holds 2 D1 offers.
Cory Hayes (San Leandro DB 20′) Excellent cover skills and good hips on Hayes.  Went up against elite WR all day and held is own – will be a leader in SL secondary.
Amari Roberson (San Leandro DB/ATH 20′) Breakout DB looking to have a huge senior year.  Can run with any WR and excels at the point of attack.  Roberson’s stock is on the rise in NorCal.

Kavika Bumgartner (Clayton Valley Charter OL 20′) Kavika has elite size and is able to battle with the best of the best in the lineman group, one of leaders on elite CVC team.
Jared Kenny (San Ramon ATH 20′) Super smooth athlete who can literally play either side.  Jered got seperation in 1 on 1’s and is poised to breakout on the recruiting scene as well.

Matt McLeod (Menlo-Ahtherton QB 22′) McLeod slung it with the upperclassmen on Sunday and looked great.  Coming off a huge freshman season helping varsity clinch a CCS title, Matt looks to break onto recruiting scene.
Eli Brickhandler (Whitney QB 21′) The top young QB of the day – Brickhandler has D1 talent and will look to prove that this season.  Surprised us with his athletic ability.
Daveonne Sanders (McClymonds WR/DB 21′)  Had the best bounce out of all the receivers. His upside is through the roof. His speed and route running are top notch – Sanders was one of the top overall sophomores in attendance.

Tyrice Ivey Jr. (Sacred Heart Cathedral DB 21′) Went up against some of the best WR in the 2020 class and won his match-ups. Lengthy DB with tons of upside.

Tyrei Washington (St. Mary’s – Stockton RB 21′) Washington is a natural in RB drills and is getting bigger as the off-season moves along.  Washington made some big plays on the day in 1 on 1’s.
Antonio Henry (Yuba City WR 21′) Henry is a star at the WR position.  Working against some of the top corners in the region, Henry gets separation through elite route running.  Henry earned top performer honors.
Afa Sanft (Saint Francis DL 20′) Sanft is aggressive and very hard to block – he put on a clinic in 1v1’s with elite moves and size.

Carson Sumter (Clayton Valley Charter RB 20′) Sumter has elite size and is also a good receiver out of the backfield, look for his stock to rise once the pads come back on.
Zeke Burnett (Capital Christian ATH 21′) Burnett has good size and balled out at RB on Sunday – Burnett has all of the tools to be a collegiate prospect.
Steven Stone (Sequoia DB 21′) Excellent size, length and athleticism – Stone proved why he is one of the top young DB’s in CCS

Tanner Salisbury (San Ramon Valley ATH 22′) The young athlete made some acrobatic grabs in 1v1’s and showed why he is one to watch.
Matt Quesada (Freedom WR 22′) Quesada is mature beyond his years already 6-2, 190 as a freshman.  Quesada has good hands and will be one of the top WR in NCS for years to come.

Ryan Daly (Saint Francis QB 20′) Daly was among the leaders in the QB group made some good throws.  Standing at 6-5 and leading one of the top teams in California, Daly is poised for a big senior year.
AJ Velasquez (Balboa RB 20′) He was consistently good the whole day. Got work with the slot’s. Did well in 1 on 1’s and held his own with a talented group of RB’s
