Attached you will see 75 of Oregon’s top athletes for the 2020 class. No list is perfect and there are always kids who are overlooked, especially still so young.

Earned 2nd team all Metro honors at FB and should be the primary ball carrier for the next two seasons. That said as he projects at LB

Phenomenal Sophomore season racking up 1st team all league honors in the brutally tough TRL
Averaged 9.5 ypc in 5 games, carrying 72 times for 684 yards and 11 TDs.
Expect a host of the nation's top schools to be visiting Lakeridge in the coming seasons as Coach Elvis Akpla has transformed the program

Max Lenzy 5-9 170 CB Tigard

Kids a baller. One of the top CB's in the country for his class.
2nd team all conference DB. Has taken multiple balls to the house for TDs

John Miller 6-1 215 LB Tualatin

One of the fastest rising Sophomore recruits in the region; 3* kid. God given instincts at the position. Earned 1st team All TRL honors from his LB spot 73 total tackles, 2 INTs, 8 tfl, 2 frec. Will be a conference & state defensive POY candidate the next two seasons

Junior Walling 6-2 220 LB McNary

3 * National recruit; Unreal Sophomore season earning 1st team all conference LB and 2nd team RB honors. 88 total tackles (58 solo), 22 tfl, 12 sacks/ 1,260 all purpose yards, 14 TDs

Casey Filkins 5-11 180 ATH Lake Oswego

1st team all TRL RB as a Sophomore. 4.0 student. 3* National recruit
Broke out on the camp circuit excelling at the Rivals event in New Jersey. One of the top SPARQ scores in the country (107.49)
Exception to the rule from a size standpoint as he will hold multiple Pac 12 /D1 offers before he is done

Tiger Shanks 6-6 325 OL Lake Oswego

All Conference OL as a freshman; Potential 4* kid with continued progression
Made the transfer from Lakeridge back to Lake O. Has the size and all of the tools to be one of Oregon's best lineman ever
Training with elite line coach Alex Linnenkohl/ Line Pro

Kalvin Souders 6-2 180 WR Central Catholic

Souders projects as one of the top WR's in the west and potentially the country for his class. He is that good.
Outstanding size and length on a legit 6-2 frame. Look for him to be a double digit D1 offer kid
From a projection standpoint he should be considered right there with teammate, 4* Silas Starr

TJ Jakmauh 6-5 280 DE/T Lakeridge

Another kid who earned all conference honors as a freshman in the TRL.
Equally impressive on both sides of the football, potentially projecting on D .
Look for a break out year from Jakmauh after two full seasons at the Varsity level

Erik Barker 6-3 205 QB McNary

Ranked a 3* national recruit by 247. 2,376 yards passing and 20 Tds, earning honorable mention all conference honors in 17'
Big good looking athlete, coming from a talented family with 6-5 brother Kolby Barker playing OLB/DE at Air Force.

Elijah Elliott 5-9 170 CB ATH Central Catholic

One of the most versatile athletes anywhere. Great kid. Ivy league type student
Could be a 2000+ yard back & nationally ranked CB/ kick returner.
Very physical lock down corner

Grant Starck 6-5 255 T/DE Thurston

Super talented overall athlete with size. Football family. Son of 6-7 head coach Justin Starck
All conference kid on both sides of the football in 17'. Has the potential of being a big time D1 prospect

Chance Sparks 6-3 175 WR Century

One of the top WR's in the NW for the 2020 class; Went off as a Sophomore earning 1st team All Metro honors. Statistically one of the leaders state wide. 52 receptions, 1000 yards, 10 TDs, averaging 19.2 yards per catch in 17'. Projects as a D1 kid at some level

Brayden Zolkoske 6-7 310 OL/DL Tigard

Should be a breakout year for the big man. Didn't necessarily get the playing time that was expected but that will change
Overall athleticism with his frame puts him in a special category for lineman if he puts it all together

Kainoa Sayre 6-0 190 RB Tualatin

One of the most exciting kids to watch in the NW. 1st team all TRL RB. D1 athlete at some level.
Went for 13 TD's and just under 7 yards per carry, with close to 1000 all purpose yards in 17'

Sandrey Mitberg 6-3 230 DE Beaverton

Super athletic kid coming off the edge with an ideal frame, and the ability to add significant size. Upped his stock significantly this off season
Could very well end up like former BHS standout Evan Colorito, DE/OLB for Colorado St/New Orleans Saints

DaMarzhe Nelson 5-8 210 RB Madison

1st team all league RB who went for over 1300+ yards and 15 TD's in 17'. Conference POY favorite the next two seasons
PIL Coach of the Year Don Johnson says, "He is like a compact truck with vision, similar to Maurice Jones-Drew when he was at De La Salle HS"

Nick Haynes 6-2 180 WR/S Reynolds

One of the most versatile kids in Oregon. 1st team all conference kick returner
Equally dangerous on both sides of the football. Excelled as part of Team Lillard

Miles Jackson 6-0 180 CB/RB Central Catholic

Dual threat kid who excelled on O but projects on D. Honorable Mention All Conference DB
Multiple 100+ yard performances in 17', with double digit TDs
Outstanding genes with father Antonio Jackson being a standout WR at Portland St

Damiko Tidmore Jr. 6-5 240 DE/TE West Linn

Can play on either side of the ball. Excelled this off season on the 7v7 circuit as part of Team Lillard. Upped his stock significantly from a TE standpoint.
Will be one of the top players in the TRL the next two seasons; 15 tackles, 3 tfl, 1 sack in 2017

Marshall Mcguire 6-3 205 OLB Lake Oswego

D1 lacrosse kid. That said as he was one of 2017's breakout performers on the football field
Outstanding size and overall athleticism. Will be one of the best in the TRL the next two seasons

Cade Knighton 5-11 182 QB Central Catholic

Started as a freshman; Very impressive Sophomore season throwing 25 TDs/ 3 INT's with 2000+ yards
Big fan of this kid as he is the exception to the rule from a size standpoint. Comes from a very impressive and talented family with multiple D1 athletes

Chase Coyle 6-2 200 QB Grants Pass

One of the fastest rising QB recruits in the region. Should get an opportunity in 2018 to show what he can do. Expect him to be one of the top players in the SWC

Casey Tawa 6-0 170 WR West Linn

Fundamentally you won't find many that are better. Runs crisp and precise routes and drops very few balls
Breakout year for Tawa in 2017 catching 37 passes for 562 yards and 3 Td's, while averaging 15.2 yards per catch
As most know the brother of 3x Oregon Gatorade POY Tim Tawa, currently a freshman standout playing baseball at Stanford

Richard Kennewell 6-3 200 OLB Clackamas

Not a lot of people know about him yet... That said as he will be one of the top defenders in the state for the 2020 class. Made 11 tackles with 3 tackles for loss and 1 INT, while scoring 3 TDs offensively and averaging 25.3 ypc in 2017

Chase Fletcher 6-2 175 OLB West Linn

Brother of former WL standout Blake Fletcher, current D1 Bucknell DE/OLB
Outstanding overall athlete, great size and speed for the position

Cooper Justice 6-6 220 QB Lakeridge

Looks the part and then some. Outstanding multi sport athlete (baseball) who could project a variety of places. Any 6-6 lefty who can throw 90+ on the diamond is very appealing
Interesting scenario and good problem to have if you are Coach Akpla as both him and 2019 QB Charlie Maynes can get the job done

Alex Hall 6-2 265 C Clackamas

One of the top Sophomore OL in the state. Racked up 2nd team all conference honors while helping Clack to the 2017 state title
Played Varsity ball as a freshman.. Key part of a talented up front group who is all returning (6-5 tackles Hennessy and Espinoza)

Taylor Johnson 6-3 210 LB Sheldon

Big, fast kid that not a lot of people know about yet. Played sparingly as a Sophomore on a deep Irish roster. Has the potential of blowing up in 18'

Kai Tinker 6-2 260 C Lakeridge

Great kid. Earned honorable mention all conference honors as a freshman; Will be a 4 year varsity starter
One of the top centers in the West for the 2020 class. Could thrive on the recruiting front with all of the high profile universities that will be in attendance to watch Jalen John/Jakmauh

Easton Crape 6-6 260 DE Rainier

Moves very well for a big man still so young. Should dominate small school football the next two seasons. Will need to get out on the camp circuit and beat top competition

Kimball Moeaki 5-11 185 SS/LB Parkrose

One of the top players in the NWOC as a Sophomore; Earned 2nd team all league honors from his LB spot
Projects as more of Safety. Plays with no fear

Keoni Hepa 6-1 270 DT Lakeridge

Made the transfer from Jeff to Lakeridge where he should thrive. Had an outstanding year in 17' earning 2nd team all PIL honors. Hepa is fluid and moves very well. Projects more on D. Big time hitter

Adrian Sandoval 6-2 250 DE West Linn

Still a wait and see but has the potential of being one of the best in the TRL. Had a couple nice camp performances this off season. Comes quick and powerful off the edge from his DE spot.

Matt Petersen 6-0 190 WR/S Oregon City

Peterson will return to OC after two very successful seasons of Varsity football at Lakeridge. Earned honorable mention all conference honors as a Sophomore. In 2017 he caught 18 passes for 315 yards and a TD, averaging 17.5 ypc

Jake Riley 6-2 220 LB Thurston

Great size/frame. Played a prominent role as a Sophomore
Accumulated 54 tackles, 10 tfl, 1 sack, 4 pbu's, 2 forced fumbles in what was a very impressive 17' campaign

Dylan Carson 6-5 225 TE/DE Churchill

Three sport athlete who's upside is off the charts, with his father standing 7-0 and playing collegiate hoops at Oregon. Grandfather played football at CAL. Look for him to make a big impact this season

Venly Tatafu 6-3 300 DT Cleveland

Monster season from the big man, who earned 2nd team all PIL honors
Super talented family as most know the last name Tatafu

Timothy Price Jr 6-0 270 DE/OLB Roosevelt

Big fan of this kid. Football family with father being the head coach. Doesn't necessarily project from a size standpoint but he will be one of the top D lineman in Oregon

Tyler Vaughn 6-1 210 LB Clackamas

Vaughn had an outstanding Sophomore year contributing from a young age and helping the Cavs to the state title. 34 total tackles, 4 tfl, 2 sacks in 2017

Ethan Flynn 6-1 175 Slot Central Catholic

Has gone somewhat under the radar thus far projecting at slot. Has done well on the 7v7 circuit as part of the EForce All Star group

Jaxon Jedrykowski 5-10 160 DB Gladstone

Tough kid who comes from a football family. Future 4A Conference and State Player of the Year candidate. Outstanding off season on the 7v7 circuit with Eforce dominating some of the top WRs in the region.
Had a breakout Sophomore year helping to get his team to the State Qtrs; 34 Tackles, 3 tfl, 7 assists, 6 INT's, 6 PBU's, 1 KR TD in 2017

Joshua Calo 6-4 175 WR Southridge

Legit 6-4 target with D1 Potential; Class President 3.9 GPA. Brother of former Portland St WR Justin Calo

Kobe Withers 6-0 160 ATH Sprague

Started as a Sophomore for one of Oregon's top 6A programs. Earned honorable mention All GVC honors from his DB spot. Can play on either side of the ball and will be a featured athlete moving forward

Sir Charles Mitchell 5-8 160 ATH Aloha

Very versatile scat back who projects as one of the most exciting players in the Metro League
Equally dangerous receiving the ball, earning 3rd team all conference honors in 17'

Nick Severson 6-0 210 LB Sherwood

Kids a beast. Would not want to get hit by him. Earned honorable mention all conference honors at LB in the very competitive TRL

Ryan Seth 6-0 280 DT West Linn

Look for Seth to be one of the top D lineman in the TRL. Had a nice Sophomore year with 18 total tackles, 1 tfl, and 2 hurries. Will be a fixture on the Lions line this season

Tommy Mckedy 6-4 280 C/DL Scappoose

Will be a 4 year all conference starter on offense; Great size for a center
Plugs up the interior nicely as a NG/DT. 14 Tackles, 1 sack in 17'

Logan Horton 6-1 210 LB Jesuit

Expect Horton to have a big Junior campaign as one of Oregon's fastest rising 2020's. He will have plenty of opportunities the next two seasons.

Doran Gillespie 5-8 165 RB Roseburg

2nd Team All SWC back. Not the biggest kid, but a super talented overall athlete (baseball), who had a breakout 2017 season for the Indians.

Zach Young 6-0 170 ATH Monroe

Oregon's 2A Player of the Year as a Sophomore in 2017. A very impressive feat even at the small school level. Will need to continue getting out on the camp circuit and doing well against top competition.

Casey Pfeil 6-4 320 DT Crescent Valley

Has the size but still a lot to prove. Versatility and mobility will be key to his progression. Overall had a good Sophomore year

London Smalley 6-0 170 ATH Westview

Look for Smalley to have a monster year after transferring from Beaverton. Excelled on the 7v7 circuit as part of Team Lillard. Projects as one of Oregon's breakout performers

Hunter Gilbert 5-9 165 CB Tigard

One of the top overall athletes in the TRL. Will be a huge factor in the coming seasons
Dual threat kid; Potential 1st team all league two way threat

Treyvon Easterling 5-10 220 RB Madras

Easterling showed up big in 2017 carrying the ball close to 200 times while rushing for 1170 yards and 11 TDs. Tough compact kid who can also move clocking a 4.69 40 yard dash

Caiden Biege-Wetherbee 5-11 160 ATH Lakeridge

Breakout season for the Sophomore at the Varsity level; 60 carries, 299 yards and 3 rushing TDs, averaging 5 ypc. Will be a huge asset for the Pacers on both sides of the football

Zach Zumwalt 6-2 270 G Oregon City

Doesn't necessarily possess ideal line size if we are talking projection, but the kid gets the job done. Earned 2nd team all Mt Hood accolades as a Sophomore

Owen Grafton 5-11 180 SS North Medford

Had a nice Sophomore campaign earning honorable mention all conference honors. Plays confidently and beyond his years

Logan Carr 5-10 215 LB Sherwood

Undersized for the position but super talented with football smarts; Started as a Sophomore for one of the top programs in the NW. Potential conference Def POY candidate covering the next two seasons

DaMario Watson Jr 5-9 170 RB Ashland

Ashland had one of their worst seasons in decades (2-7) in 2017, but Watson Jr was a bright spot racking up 2nd team all MWL accolades.

Cameron Bennett 6-2 175 WLB Forest Grove

Big Sophomore season from Bennett who is an athletic LB with room to add size on his frame. Honorable Mention all conference TE in 17'

Trey Eberhart 5-8 165 ATH Valley Catholic

One of Oregon's top 4A athletes. Not the biggest kid but fun to watch in space. Had a breakout Sophomore year earning 1st team all league honors.

Cole Smith 6-0 175 RB Forest Grove

Smith had a breakout year, with a handful of TDs, as he projects as one of the GVC's top backs in the years ahead. Honorable mention all conference RB. Also a very talented free safety. Did well on the 7v7 circuit playing for the EForce underclass group.

Gabe Ekwall 6-2 185 WR Ashland

Part of a nice 2020 perimeter group at Ashland (Watson Jr) . Ekwall is an athletic kid with size. Was an honorable mention all conference WR in 17'

Sanje Freeman 6-1 240 DL Century

Earned 2nd team All NWOC honors from his O line spot, while projecting on D
Super tough kid on the interior. Father was a three year starter at the Univ of Nevada

Divenson Willis 5-8 190 RB North Bend

Divenson had a monster Sophomore campaign earning 1st team all league honors on both sides of the football (RB/LB). Look for him to lead the 4A power moving forward

Logan Kerr 6-4 270 T North Eugene

Has legit size but still an unknown playing for North. Earned honorable mention all conference honors in 17'

Tristan Karns 6-0 210 LB North Eugene

Dual threat kid earning all conference honors at LB. Impressed with his overall athleticism averaging 4.7 yds per carry, with multiple TDs/INTs

Ethan Wallis 6-5 320 T/NG Barlow

Has the size and the tools. Will need to beat some of the state's top lineman and do well on the camp circuit in order to up his stock
