Absolutely loaded group at the Best Coast Showcase Sacramento/SJS! This event was stocked with players from all over NorCal on an extremely hot day at Rocklin HS. The SJS section is arguably the most talented region on the entire west coast and it was a treat getting to see some of the up and coming talent in the area.
This was Tour Stop #4 of the Best Coast Showcase and it did not disappoint.
Oregon Best Coast Showcase – Hillsboro, OR – Sunday, July 21st

Payton balled out on the day and was awarded Overall CAMP MVP along with winning the King of the Ring Crown.

One of the best edge rushers in the nation was in attendance at the Best Coast Showcase. Calhoun has all of the tools to become an elite Power 5 player.

Hutton is one of the best overall skill players on the West Coast. Hutton put on a display in 1 on 1's by running crisp routes and not even coming close to losing a rep.

Lange was absolutely dominant on the day and took home Underclass MVP Honors. Lange has excellent technique to go with his NFL frame and displayed excellent stamina by taking on everyone in 1 on 1's and advancing to the King of the Ring finals. Lange holds an early offer from Arizona State.

Blackwell is one of the most versatile players on the West Coast. Elite size, speed and athleticism - Blackwell can contribute in multiple spots at the next level and looks to have a huge senior season on one of the nations best teams.

Burnett is one of the top 2022 players in the west and will receive his first offer soon. Built like a senior player already - Burnett can hurt opposing teams in the run game and in the slot.

Elite 2021 2-Way Lineman Josiah Scott has elite size and talent. Working the with the top group on the day, Scott showed his ability to overpower opponents while continuing to improve his footwork.

The 6-4 gunslinger already has the poise and maturity of a collegiate QB. Patu makes all of his throws look easy while showing great footwork in the pocket. Currently holds an offer from San Jose State.

The 6-4, 280 Summers looked great on the day. Elite size and the ability to bend - Summers might be one of the top Centers on the West Coast Class of 2020.

We have seen Brickhandler at 2 different showcases this Spring/Summer and we see why Eli is one of the best 2021 QB's in California. Elite athleticism and unlimited potential - Brickhandler balled out again and earned QB honors.

The elite dual threat QB looked impressive during our routes on air session and showed why ripped off over 30 TDs last season. Wotham is a steal at the collegiate level who can also play multiple positions.

Kendricks can flat out ball - the 2021 WR from CA State Champion McClymonds showed off great routes and hands and the ability to get separation. Kendricks can contribute in all 3 phases of the game at the next level.

Lightning quick with great routes - De Jesus is even better in pads - the 2020 playmaker makes everything look easy and will look to top his 20 TD junior season.

The 6-4, 250 TE showed off elite athletic ability and great hands. Simpson is one of the best TE in the SJS section with his combination of size, speed and strength.

Miller has elite size and has a nice touch on the deep ball. This 2020 QB will be rising on college boards as he is a good fit in any system with his athletic ability.

Gallon might have been the most physically gifted QB in attendance. Great size, feet and a rocket arm - we look for Gallon to establish himself as an elite California passer this season.

Durrossette is a big gun slinger with a nice resume to back it up. The 6-3, 205 passer from Central Catholic led the QB group for the 2020 class - Dalton is also an elite baseball player already committed to Santa Clara.

Saffar is a SJS POY candidate for the 2019 season. The versatile RB/DB ran great routes out of the backfield and showed off his excellent speed. Look for him to explode on the recruiting trail soon.
2021 OL Cle'Mone Kennedy (Liberty)

One of the top 2021 OL in NorCal and starter on elite CA Team - Kennedy put on a nice show at the Best Coast Showcase. He has tremendous upside and a motor to go with it. He showed off his impressive feet and hands in 1 on 1's.

Bradford showed great athleticism and versatility as an outside rusher at the Best Coast Showcase. He will be a leader on the Oakdale defense this season.

Morano is 6-5, 260 and extremely atheltic with a motor. Had a great junior season in an elite CA conference - Morano did exceptionally well at the Best Coast Showcase and showed why he will be a steal at the college level.

Baker was the top DB in attendance at the Sacramento/SJS showcase. Baker showed the ability to play press man and dominate while also making plays on the ball. Baker has made a name for himself as a player to watch in the SJS section as a quality sized corner.

Jones showed why he will be one of the top 2021 to watch next season as a 2-way star for Granite Bay. Superb athlete and great hips and ball skills.

The 6-4, 200+ pound QB made some elite throws on the day and impressed us with his outstanding arm strength. Jackson will look to boost the Burbank offense next season with his dual threat ability.

Jackson is 6-3, 230 and extremely athletic. Only in the class of 2021 - Jackson had some great reps in 1 on 1's and shows flashes of a D1 prospect - look for his stock to blow up over the next few months.

Pilland showed his explosiveness off in 1 on 1's and looks to be one of the top young DL in all of Northern California - look for his stock to blow up after the first few weeks of the season.

Byars is one of the top 2021 LB in all of NorCal. Super smooth athlete with outstanding tackling ability - Byars looks even better in pads - we have seen him at 2 showcases this year and he always competes with the elite group.

Cabanilla was first team all-league as a sophomore last season and made some great plays at the showcase. Cabanilla has excellent length and good speed - will contribute on offense as well for Milpitas next season.

Wong has all of the physical tools and is impressive in pass coverage - look for him to continue to develop well into his collegiate years. We look forward to seeing Wong this upcoming season.

Talley is a 2 way stud and made some tremendous plays a sophomore on varsity last season - he is extremely coordinated and makes great plays at the highest point. Talley has elite speed and will help his team this upcoming season.

Explosive interior lineman - Jones made a name for himself at the Best Coast Showcase. Outstanding athlete with elite quickness - Jones looks to get on the recruiting board of some colleges asap.

Ashton has excellent technique and showed why is one of the top lineman in Northern Nevada. Christiansen held his own against great competition in 1 on 1's and is the centerpiece of that elite Bishop Manogue Offensive Line.

Highly active edge rusher with a great strength - Ninekirk balled out in 1 on 1's and continues to make a name for himself on the 2019 camp circuit.

Ternora is an extremely fast slot WR and made some nice grabs last Sunday. He will be a top target for his McQueen team this upcoming season.

Huddleston worked out with the WR but was just as impressive on the defensive side - his length and speed give him a chance to earn a collegiate scholarship.

The young QB from Oakdale will help add a quality passing element to there top rushing attack. He looked great throwing on the run and will continue to grow into his 6-3 frame.

Hellmer has elite size and is great in the underneath game - we have seen him at both of our Northern California showcases and he impressed us both times.

Williams is one of the top returning DB's in CCS and showed why with his range and ball skills. Excellent size and speed - Williams will be a steal for whatever college he chooses to attend.

The smooth 2 way athlete made some great plays on the day - at 6-1, 175 Thrower has great length to go with his ability.

The gunslinger from Lathrop HS looked great in routes on air and made some trunk tight throws in 1 on 1's. Ruiz benefited last season from throwing to #1 2022 ATH Raleek Brown at Edison - now he will look to lead his team in an expanded role.

2 Sport Star - extremely athletic with tons of potential - Clark will look to make plays and get on the recruiting radar this fall with elite jumping ability.

Harrison can contribute in all 3 phases of the game - lightning quick with good strength - he was tough to beat in 1 on 1s on the day.

Hope was the anchor of the 13-1 Cougars defense last season and looks to improve upon his 100+ tackle season. Hope looked good in LB drills and showed off his quickness.

Eklund is big and athletic for his age and will be one of the top 2022 defenders in the SJS next season. Eklund was great in pass drops but is even more impressive on film with his tackling ability.

Canton was one of the top young Quarterbacks on the day showing off great accuracy and arm strength - he is a good athlete and will look to help his Bear Creek team next season.
