As the 2019 7v7 season comes to a close, we put our spotlight on rising 2022 6’3, 170 Tigard WR Keenan Speer-Johnson, who has dominated on the outside for one of the top 7v7 teams in the West, Team Lillard 7v7. The young and lanky wide out with excellent open field speed has made big catches against top teams from all over the nation while playing for Team Lillard on the tournament circuit.
Speer-Johnson will be looking to make an impact in the extremely competitive TRL League for Tigard this upcoming season while establishing himself as one of the Top WR’s in the west region for the class of 2022. The two-sport athlete has excellent body control and concentration while catching the football in traffic.
Speer-Johnson also carries D1 genes with his grandfather being veteran 14 year NFL Coach, Don Johnson Sr., and his father being, Don Johnson Jr, who has been a successful high school head coach for several years here in the Northwest while also playing in college.
Keenan credits his development this offseason to Houston Lillard who is the Head Coach of Team Lillard 7v7 and trainer Aaron Woods, owner of Grind Time Fitness.
As a former WR at Tigard HS myself, I am especially excited to see this young prospect develop and work his way into success over the next few years within one of the top programs in the Northwest.
