Per usual rankings are based on who projects highest at the collegiate level. There are a host of variables taken into account including size, speed, offers, on field production, GPA, etc..
That said as you can be a very good HS athlete and NOT project to a high level of collegiate ball.
If you feel that you are one of the state’s best at your position and were not listed, send your info HERE for evaluation.

Jimmie Barton 5-10 165 Centennial

One of the fastest kids in Oregon. Outstanding track athlete clocking a 10.6 100 meters. Earned 2nd team all league honors at RB projecting as more of an athlete. Look for Barton to be used as more of a slot/return man at the next level.

Darik Salinas 6-1 165 ATH Southridge

I can't say enough good things about Salinas. The kid is a gamer. Projects as one of the top QB's in the state but as more of an ATH due to his versatility. Hit on 64.6% of his passes (190/294), throwing for 2,096 yards and 20 Tds. Also earned all conference DB honors while potentially being one of the top WR's in the Metro .

Joey Gatto 5-7 165 Slot Jesuit

Gatto is undersized but super legit. One of the most exciting players in the state in space. Racked up 1st team All Metro honors catching 38 balls for 763 yards (13.8 ypc) and 3 Tds.

Zach Young 6-0 170 ATH Monroe

The returning Oregon 2A Player of the Year.can play..From a recruitment standpoint typically playing small school football is too big of a hurdle to overcome. He is the exception. Went for 1,994 yards and 24 TD's earning 1st team all state honors in 2018.

Matt Petersen 6-0 190 WR/S Oregon City

Big fan of this kid. Will be a 4 year varsity athlete. Earned honorable mention all conference honors as a Sophomore. Over the last 2 seasons he has 32 receptions for 473 yards, and 2 TDs. Also a defensive standout making 35 total tackles with 1 INT .

Lydell Hudson-Lewis 6-0 170 ATH Mountainside HS

Expect the transfer from Chaparral High in Parker, CO to be one of the better players in Oregon for 2020. His 43 total tackles and film from last season speak to his defensive ability. Lydell will make an immediate impact for one of the state's fastest rising programs.

Cole Smith 6-0 175 RB Forest Grove

Made the transfer from Forest Grove after earning all conference RB honors as a Sophomore. One of the primary reasons Liberty had the success that they did, ranking as one of the state's top 10 teams. Projects as a 1st team all league kid next season.

Josh Nomie 5-7 150 ATH/DB Barlow

This kid is fierce. Plays with no fear. Absolutely fly's to the ball. Received 1st team all league honors from his Safety spot, accounting for 76 total tackles and 2 INTs. Projects as more of an ATH due to size.

One of the more impressive kids in Oregon at the 5A level. Earned honorable mention all state honors carrying the ball 159 times for 1, 064 yards and 11 Tds. Played the RB spot but projects as more of a slot as he is super shifty and can do damage in space.

Austin Boster 5-8 155 Slot South Medford

One of the more exciting kids in the state if you get him the ball in space. Earned 1st team all SWC honors at WR and 2nd team DB accolades. He is undersized but fun to watch and could be a nice addition for a smaller collegiate program

Trey Eberhart 5-8 175 Valley Catholic

Eberhart earned 1st team all league honors as a Sophomore and should be considered one of the top players at the 4A level. He 's not the biggest kid and the lack of competition could hinder his recruiting. That said as he is a threat to go to the house any time he has some space.

Ethan Flynn 6-1` 190 Central Catholic

Ethan was dominant at a young age but has been plagued by injuries over the last few years. Assuming he stays healthy he will be an impact player for one of the top programs in the NW in CC.

Carried the ball 158 times as a Junior rushing for 830 yards, after earning 2nd team all league honors as a Sophomore. Projects as more of a slot or DB at the next level.
