Fresno State enjoyed it’s best season in school history by going 12-2 under 2nd year Head Coach Jeff Tedford while finishing #18 in the final AP FBS poll.
This historic run was powered offensively by the dynamic sophomore running back duo of Ronnie Rivers & Jordan Mims who displayed their skills on the ground and catching passes out of the backfield from QB Marcus McMaryion. Fresno State has done a nice job of recruiting the Bay Area as Rivers played for Freedom HS (Oakley, CA) and Mims played for Menlo-Atherton HS (Atherton, CA).
