** Over the next few months we will be breaking down the top athletes by position for the 2017 class. Rankings are determined by who projects highest at the next level. As the season comes to a close we will add to this list and organize numerically. All relevant feedback is appreciated as we will periodically update each position.

WR

Mason Elliott 6-3 180 Westview (Offers: Idaho)
Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3174704/mason-elliott

Mason is big, fast, physical and currently the only receiver in the 2017 class with a D1 offer (Idaho). His 53 catches for 705 yards and 6 TD’s through 7 games make him statistically one of Oregon’s best. Opposite Elliott is teammate and fellow D1 receiver Samori Toure, one of 2016’s top athletes.

Isaia Mullen 6-4 190 Madison
Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2579299/highlights

The Senators are a young football team and Mullen has thrived under head coach Don Johnson. Isaia has been a PIL statistical leader in most categories, catching 24 passes for 502 yards and 7 TDs. Expect to see him be one of the featured athletes on the 7 on 7 circuit during the off season.

Jonny Neville 6-4 200 Wilsonville
Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2747818/jonny-neville

Jonny has the potential of being the top receiver in the state. He is incredibly crisp with his routes and sneaky fast. Neville has been one of the state leader’s statistically, catching 25 passes for 449 yards and 11 TD’s through 7 games. Jonny missed most of week 7 and all of 8 after a horrendous call that left him ejected. Expect him to go off during the playoffs.

Harrison Steiger 6-3 185 Wilsonville
Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/4536416/harrison-steiger

Steiger currently leads the state in TD receptions (16), averaging a ridiculous 21.8 yards per catch. He has caught 36 passes for 788 yards, through 8 games on the year. Quarterback Neville calls Harrison a “Freak” and one of the best players in Oregon. Harrison will win 90% + of his one on one matchups, as you can’t double team the Wildcat receivers due to their depth.

Trey Davis 5-11 175 Central Catholic
Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2900928/trey-davis

Davis isn’t necessarily getting the time on O but the kids legit. He was a standout on the camp circuit over the off season, scoring multiple TD’s at the national 7 on 7 tourney in Vegas. Trey is the brother of former 1st team all state wide out Zack Davis, now a standout at Saddleback JC. (Mission Viejo, CA)

Justin Altenhofen 6-2 175 Wilsonville
Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3967294/justin-altenhofen-

Justin is the brother of Boise St WR and former player of the year Tanner Shipley. He has caught 29 passes for 518 yards and 5 TD’s so far this season, and should be considered one of the top Junior’s in Oregon, averaging 17.8 yards per catch.

Jarred Ellisen 6-6 200 Tualatin
Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3339360/jared-ellisen

Ellisen is having a good year, catching 14 passes for 174 yards and a TD. He would have twice as many catches on a passing team. Jarred presents a legit matchup problem for most opponents, standing 6-6 and athletic.

Parker Cardwell 6-1 185 La Salle
Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2694552/parker-cardwell

Cardwell is one of the top players in the NWOC, scoring 6 TD’s in the last 6 games. He earned 2nd team all conference honors at WR as a Sophomore and will be key to the Falcons success. .

Austin Kramer 6-2 170 Crater
Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3385049/austin-kramer

Kramer has had a big year on both sides of the football for the undefeated Comets. His 32 receptions for 432 yards and 4 TD’s, through 8 games, compliment his defensive ability where he has excelled.

Jake Ireland 6-3 185 Crater
Film: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/5355084/jake-ireland

Ireland is most likely a baseball kid first but also a talented receiver. On the year he has 27 receptions for 434 yards and 4TD’s. Him and teammate Kramer give Crater one of the top underclassmen duo’s in Oregon.
